SNAP BUTTONS (Metal & Plastic)

Snap buttons are a set of small, fused discs typically used in fabrics as an alternative to regular buttons, they are also known as press studs, snaps or poppers and are usually made from metal. At SBS, we are professional manufacturer of snap buttons in China, and we also supply our products to different countries around the world.

We manufacture various types of snap buttons that can be fused onto textile or leather materials. Snap buttons have four parts including cap, socket, stud, and post. Part A is made of cap and socket while part B is composed of stud and post. The middle of socket is a hole with a round spring ring or two parallel springs. Typically, when fastening press studs, we fit part A over part B, then hold them tightly until sufficient pressure is applied to combine them. If necessary, the surface of cap and socket can be customized by carving decorative patterns depending on customer’s requirements.

Snap buttons are versatile and can be used in various settings to attach materials of different strengths and toughness, including leather, canvas textile, terry fabrics and knitted fabrics among others. Additionally, we recommend them for use in attaching fabric to solid surfaces such as cardboard, plastic or wood, or joining two or more sections of material in one location.

Likewise, snap buttons are useful in connecting not just clothes, but also other items such as luggage bags, ready-to-wear jackets, footwear, canine leashes & harnesses, and saddlery.
